baby week 10: doctor’s visit
January 17th, 2008today we had a mini-checkup at the doctor’s office and learned the following:
- charlotte weighs 10lbs, 6oz
- with a weight gain of 10oz over the past 2 weeks, she’s just fine
- that’s she’s probably not teething, but those little bumps “sure are weird”
- that she spends a bit too much time on her right side, so now she needs to spend a bit too much time on her left to even things out
- that all formulas are mostly created equal - just stick to the normal non-fancy milk replacement ones
and that’s about it until her 4 month checkup in 6 weeks!

Yay! I am so glad she gained a good amount of weight! Woohoo! If you guys do start using formula, I would *highly* recommend using something other than similac - only because everyone and their brother seems to be using it so it is sometimes hard to find. We have some free enfamil if you want that.
